Burlingame Art Society’s 22nd Annual Spring Art Exhibit

Hillsdale Shopping Center will host The Burlingame Art Society’s 22nd Annual Spring Art Exhibit. The exhibit will showcase local artists’ original works in watercolor, acrylics, oils and pastels for award judging and public viewing. Many of these respected, talented artists and members of the Burlingame Art Society, currently, also have collections donning the walls of The Peninsula Ballet, Burlingame’s Hall of Justice and City Hall and other venues throughout the Peninsula. Local TV personality, Guy Magallanes of KCSM TV’s “Art2Art” series will judge exhibit pieces and award ribbons for outstanding submissions. Exhibit is free.

The Burlingame Art Society was organized in 1957 by a group of artists who sought to practice the principles of traditional art. Among the membership are art teachers, exceptional and award winning artists as well as those who are interested in the arts and promoting art and the appreciation of art in the community. Watch these tiny wooden cars tear up the track in Macy’s Center Court. The competition will be fierce so get ready for innovative cars, tight finishes, and lots of excitement!
