See’s Candies Celebrates 70th Anniversary in San Mateo with Special Event at Hillsdale Shopping Center
Giveaways and Sweet Traditions Highlight Milestone Celebration on May 8
Hillsdale Shopping Center invites the community to mark a sweet milestone as See’s Candies celebrates 70 years in San Mateo with a special in-store event on Friday, May 8.
Beginning at 10 a.m. and continuing throughout the day, guests can visit the See’s Candies location on the lower level next to Ecco to enjoy a festive atmosphere featuring special promotions, giveaways and classic confections that have made the brand a longtime favorite.
As part of the celebration, the first 100 guests will receive a complimentary reusable tote, available while supplies last.
"This is a meaningful moment for See’s Candies as a company,” said Pat Egan, president and CEO of See’s Candies. “San Mateo and the South Bay have supported See’s, and this shop in particular, for most of our history. The Hillsdale Mall was a pretty big part of my childhood, as I lived in San Mateo through most of elementary school.”
