Preparedness at Hillsdale

Hillsdale Shopping Center is committed to helping ensure the protection of all our customers, employees and tenants, and to preserving the health of our neighbors and the business community. In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we are providing the following advisory relative to our preventative operations and best practices.

At this time, Hillsdale Shopping Center is taking extra precautions to keep the shopping center clean and sanitized for our customers. In addition to regular daily cleaning protocols for all common areas of the Shopping Center, we are implementing the following precautionary measures:

• • Hand sanitizer dispensers placed throughout the Center: Dispensers are located adjacent to each mall entrance, at the Customer Services Area – North, at the Customer Services Area – South.
  • All common area entry door handles, inside and out, are cleaned twice daily.
  • Hand rails on the upper level of the shopping center, and all mall stairways are cleaned daily.
  • All elevator cab buttons are cleaned daily.
  • Escalator handrails are cleaned daily.
  • All tables and furniture in the Dining Terrace, Patio, Plaza and other common areas are cleaned daily.
  • All restrooms and family restrooms are adequately supplied with hand wash supplies.
  • Additional efforts are ongoing.

We encourage you to take commonsense precautions to prevent the spread of infectious diseases including common illnesses like colds and flu. Noted below are a few reminders:

• • Wash your hands often and avoid touching the face, particularly the eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Use proper cough etiquette by coughing or sneezing into a tissue, sleeve or arm (do not use hands).
  • Avoid shaking hands. If you do, wash hands for at least 20 seconds.
