MEET THE HILLSDALE HELPERS

Here at Hillsdale Shopping Center the tree is lit, the sounds of the season are playing and shopping and dining are in full swing. With so much going on, we once again teamed up with our favorite influencers to help guide you through the holiday happenings.

Meet our helpers below and follow us @hillsdaleshoppingcenter (and them!) on Instagram as they continue to inspire over the next couple of weeks by sharing their finds and experiences.

Michelle McCarroll

Michelle of Michelle Oh My (@michellemccarroll) is a Bay Area mother and wife who’s combined her passion for blogging with her love she has for her family. Keeping with her family-oriented lifestyle, Michelle kicked off the holiday season with a visit to Hillsdale and brought along her husband Kevin, daughters Scarlett and Mila, and her son Wesley, who was welcomed into the world this October.

They started their day by stopping into Santa’s Wonderland for a festive family photo. Their visit extended into the evening where they experienced the official Tree Lighting event with a host of community performances. It was a very merry first Christmas celebration for their newborn Wesley!

Sarah Naini

Say hello to Sarah, another local San Fran favorite of ours! Known on Instagram as your friend @sarahsundrop, she uses her platform to influence a following of 21k+ on living a positive lifestyle and fashion.

The LEGO® Store

Sarah spent her time at Hillsdale shopping, dining and snacking on delicious treats from See’s Candies; It’s no wonder she was smiling!

She had her Christmas list and checked it twice to make sure she found the most wonderful gifts for loved ones. A deluxe set from LEGO® was a perfect find for her mom. She shopped for handbags from everyone’s favorite Michael Kors and was mesmerized by all the sparkle at Swarovski.

Before heading home, she wrapped up the day with a mouthwatering lunch from Nordstrom Café. An extra seat was necessary for all her bags!

April Wagner

For the second year in a row, April Wagner (@apriljwagner) and her family returned to Hillsdale to kick off the holiday season! This ballerina turned blogger runs the lifestyle blog Champagne Colored Glasses from the Bay Area, where her goal is to inspire confidence in women by sharing her story and being an advocate for people struggling with chronic illnesses.

Mrs. Fields Cookies

This year, this mother of 4 decided to come to Hillsdale to get a start on her holiday shopping and experience all the holiday festivities to offer, but her main focus was on giving back and supporting the community. April and her family visited the Samaritan House Giving Tree, where they were able to drop off a gift from a stranger’s wishlist. They also stopped by the Samaritan House Food and Coat Drive where they donated a new jacket to help someone in need have a cozier Christmas.

Kristen Vrionis

Meet Kristen, a passionate foodie living in the Bay Area. Kristen runs @TheMessyMouth where, at just 25 years old, she shares her food (and travel) journeys with her audience of 55k across Instagram and Tik Tok, all eager to see the world through her plate.

Philz Coffee
Yayoi

Kristen visited us to experience some of the best food Hillsdale has to offer during the holiday season. She made sure to hit all the must-taste spots, starting her day at Philz Coffee, before stopping to get mouthwatering sushi bites at Yayoi, the best Neapolitan pizza from MidiCi, classic Philly cheesesteaks from The Refuge, and closing out her day with some bowling and world-class local fare from Pinstripes.
